It feels like just yesterday that my daughter first started learning English with her teacher — but it’s already been over three years!
She was a little shy when she first met her teacher over Zoom, but thanks to the familiar group setting with her friends, she quickly warmed up and began enjoying the lessons — especially learning the alphabet through fun videos.
People are often surprised when I say she’s been doing online English lessons for over three years! Even though her teacher is in a different country, we never once felt the distance. That’s because the teacher’s experience, passion, and confidence in her curriculum make the lessons feel personal and effective, no matter where we are.
With time, English has become more than just a subject for my child — it’s a language she uses naturally. Hearing her speak with such clear pronunciation from her room always brings a proud smile to my face. 😊
After learning the alphabet and phonics, she moved on to reading books, gradually increasing the level. The lessons include building sentences, reviewing stories through fun quizzes, reading aloud, and even recording herself. It’s amazing to see how her skills — along with her friends’ — have grown through these classes.
The teacher once said that the final goal of elementary English education is reading Harry Potter, and we’re looking forward to that day! We’re so thankful for the time she’s shared with her teacher and friends. Here’s to many more great moments to come!
