Key Grammar Points

In this story, we can start with a subjunctive mood sentence, which involves if clauses. There are several noun clause sentences that are introduced by ‘that,’ ‘how,’ and ‘what.’ We also encounter two different uses of ‘when’. One is as a time conjunction, and the other is as a relative adverb. Furthermore, there are a few sentences in which relative pronouns are omitted, and also many of sentences include time conjunctions such as ‘as soon as,’ ‘when,’ and ‘while’ with past perfect tenses.
